Ongoing Projects:
- LOXO: This is the first driverless delivery vehicle in Europe, currently operating in Ebikon, Switzerland. It utilizes remote supervision, representing the future of efficient and automated urban logistics.
- Embotech’s Embotruck: This pilot project involves testing an Automated Terminal Truck (ATT) at a major European harbor terminal. It is pioneering the integration of automated technology into logistics operations, highlighting advancements in safety and efficiency, and setting new industry standards for automated logistics solutions.
- Swisscom, Holcim, and Volvo: These companies are collaborating to test driverless dumper trucks in a quarry in Aargau, Switzerland.

Additional projects involving autonomous logistics vehicles are underway in Bern, Geneva, and Zurich. Details about these projects will be shared soon!

By leveraging these projects on autonomous logistics, SAAM is contributing with innovative solutions and advanced technology to the VNL network, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in logistics automation.
